Hi, I’m Kristin -

I’m a contemporary artist living and working in Central Texas. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and spent several years working as a designer. Though I’ve loved art since childhood, it was as an adult that I discovered a profound connection to creative expression through fine art.

I found my artistic voice in soft pastels — a medium that captivates me with its immediacy, richness, texture, and sensitivity to light. From the moment I picked up my first pastel stick, I haven’t looked back. My work is inspired by the quiet beauty of everyday landscapes and the stillness they evoke.

Since moving to Central Texas, I’ve been especially drawn to the region’s expansive skies and the beauty revealed in each sunrise and sunset. I also find inspiration in the surrounding prairie, particularly during the spring when wildflowers bloom and tall grasses sway in the wind.

I paint each piece with a desire to reflect the beauty of creation and point to the glory of the Creator. A glowing sunset, the wind rustling through a field, or the gentle movement of water often draws me into a moment of stillness — a time to connect with God and stand in awe of His handiwork. It’s in those moments that I find deep peace and creative inspiration. My hope is that my paintings might invite others into that same sense of peace and connection.

I deeply value the personal connections that art can create and love hearing how a painting resonates with someone’s space or story. Whether you’re new to collecting or a lifelong art enthusiast, my desire is that my work brings a quiet sense of beauty and calm into your everyday life.
